Restaurante del Parador de Cervera de Pisuerga

The Parador de Cervera's dining room looks out over the Ruesga reservoir and the peaks of the Palencia Mountains, about 2 km from the village. The cooking is traditional Castilian, simple and based on fresh local produce, with wild mushrooms taking the lead in season. The menu includes veal chop and sirloin, cod, crispy pork belly, free-range rooster, game charcuterie and octopus, alongside Palencia classics such as roast milk-fed lamb, vegetable menestra and Castilian garlic soup. For pudding, there's homemade reineta apple tart and Camporredondo truffles.
